Today I found a penny on the sidewalk and I picked it up. I never pick up pennies. I guess because I donít believe in luck, so I donít need lucky pennies. Itís my own sort of convoluted logic. I believe in God, not luck. Somebody else could get lucky with that penny. But today I picked it up because I realized that pennies are like moments: minutes and seconds. A penny doesnít seem worth much, you canít buy anything with a penny. Itís thinking.jpg (197978 bytes)the same with the little seconds and moments of our life. How many times do I devalue my moments? How many times do a waste a day or an evening worrying or mulling in depression?  How many moments do I miss that could be exciting and positive? I do it when I allow negativity in my thoughts. How many moments to I waste worrying? Worrying over things I have no control over. Itís like the pennies I leave on the sidewalk, an accumulation of moments lost. I leave money on the table, opportunities I never experience all because I choose to live in the negative. It is a choice. Iím going to change. I will pick up pennies. I chose to have great moments. I chose what my reality is, how I decipher my world around me. I can choose and today I chose positive. How about you?
